[Holy! A journal update withing a week of the last one? What is the world coming to? XD]

Anywho, I got back from my aunt's and grandmother's a few hours ago and I'm beat.... ... I want to fall asleep and just forget that I have stuff to do but I can't... -_- So annoying...
Happy Belated Thanksgiving, my peeps... Well, that covers "Sleepies", now about jobs.... [WARNING: The following is pretty much a sleep-deprived rant. You have no obligation to read it. Just so you know.]

I really want a job that isn't at a summer camp so I can stay home over the summer. ... But that summer camp job I had might be my only opinion. I was in a GameStop a bit ago and thought it would be interesting to have a job there but from what little researching I did and just based on the job market, my chances would be slim and it doesn't seem like that wonderful of a job except you get to work with video games. *shrug* I don't know.

I didn't necessarily dislike working in the kitchen at that camp but I don't want to be that isolated from the world again. I missed out on so much my friends were doing. Most of my coworkers were in college or were out of school. And there were only maybe 3ish people my age at the camp all summer I actually enjoyed being with, and one of them was the director's son whose been my friend since I started going to that camp around Kindergarten or 1st Grade.

Ug, I really need/want a job but the market sucks.... It's like trying to steal a tennis ball from the camp's dog, not impossible, just unlikely.... *shakes head* This has been bugging me for a bit. There's really nothing I can do to change the market and it's not like there are any places I would truly enjoy working at *doesn't really like interacting with the general masses*. I'm willing to work in a store/retail/whatever the heck it's called but there's where a lot of adults that lost their jobs have gone to.... My money from my summer job is starting to run out and I still have a few months until summer again... If I find a reasonable job besides working at camp, I won't work there.

[RANT END, SUMMARY FOLLOWING, IF YOU WANT IT]
Basically, I want a job in my area so I can stay home but there aren't many jobs for teens cuz of the economy. The camp kitchen job I had last summer was ok but really isolated and most of my coworkers weren't my age. I'd prefer to work near home but that camp might be my only opinion cuz the job market freaking sucks right now. And to top it off, my money from that job is running out.... Damn, I need to figure out if I want to start filling out applications. The email from the camp director should be sent out soon to people that worked there last summer to see if they want to come back for summer '10... Damn it, damn it, damnit... *continues to mumble*

And that's what's bothering me... It might just be the sleep deprivation but whatever, I felt like bothering you lot with it as well. Sorry and 'scuz me while I go and bang my head against a brick wall... a very soft brick wall, don't worry...
